Welcome to the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Liberia. We prepare students with the analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills required to succeed in academia, industry, government, research, and technology.

Brief History
The Department of Mathematics traces its origins to Liberia College in the nineteenth century, where it provided mathematical instruction to students pursuing studies in the liberal arts.
As the University of Liberia expanded, the department became an integral part of the Thomas J.R. Faulkner College of Science and Technology. Today, the department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics with minors in Physics and Economics, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics.
